My Style.
My goal in photography is to capture authentic moments in beautiful light. When you mix those two things you get a soulful photograph that makes you feel as good as it looks.
I love to create portraits that people connect with. I try not to over-pose people or ask anyone to give me a smile that isn’t genuine.
The Light.
Photography is using light to capture a moment. Whether natural light or studio flashes, I use light to make my photos more intriguing and flattering to highlight the genuine moment that is captured.
The Moment.
I’ll take a sweet & innocent gaze looking off into the distance rather than a forced “cheesy” smile any day of the week. In my experience the cheesy smile photos are nice but lack the connection of a genuine moment. Sometimes it’s getting kids to interact with their sibling that gets them to laugh or a mother embracing her daughter and feeling the love.
